Sanjay Dutt Calls Amitabh Bachchan His Hero on His Birthday Says Working With Him Is an Honour

Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday became an occasion for a heartfelt tribute from Sanjay Dutt, who expressed his admiration and gratitude for the megastar in a deeply personal social media message. Calling Bachchan his hero, Sanjay thanked the veteran actor for the love he has always shown him and acknowledged how much he has learnt from him over the years. The message stood out for its warmth, offering a glimpse into the respect and affection Sanjay holds for one of Indian cinema’s most celebrated figures.

Taking to X on October 11, Sanjay shared his birthday wishes with a message addressed directly to the legendary actor. He wrote, “Dear Sir, happy birthday and may God bless you. You have always loved me, and I thank you for that. You are my hero, and I have learnt so much from you. Just to work with you is an honour for me. Happy birthday again Sir, and love you. @SrBachchan”

The simplicity of Sanjay’s words made the tribute especially touching. Rather than focusing only on Bachchan’s legendary status or his achievements on screen, the actor spoke about the personal affection he has received from him. His reference to Bachchan as his hero also reflected the influence the senior star has had on him, both as an actor and as someone he deeply respects.

Sanjay accompanied the birthday message with three photographs capturing different moments in their association. Two nostalgic pictures showed the actors together during earlier years, while a more recent image captured an affectionate interaction between them. The photographs added an emotional dimension to the post, tracing a connection that has continued across generations of Hindi cinema.

Amitabh Bachchan has remained a towering presence in Indian cinema for decades, earning admiration for his performances across genres and his ability to reinvent himself through changing eras. For actors who grew up watching his work, the opportunity to share the screen with him carries a special significance. Sanjay’s message reflected precisely that sentiment, describing working alongside the megastar as an honour while acknowledging the lessons he has learnt from him.

The two actors have shared screen space in films including Kaante and Eklavya: The Royal Guard, bringing their distinct screen personalities together. Their professional association adds another layer to Sanjay’s birthday message, which went beyond a conventional greeting to express genuine appreciation for Bachchan’s support and affection.

As birthday wishes poured in for Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt’s tribute offered a reminder that even established stars can look up to their contemporaries as mentors and sources of inspiration. His message celebrated not just the actor’s remarkable legacy but also the personal bond that has made their association meaningful. For Sanjay, Bachchan remains more than a screen icon—he is a hero whose guidance and kindness have left a lasting impression.
